MORGAN STYREN, PSYD
Morgan Styren is a post-doctoral fellow who specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy for adolescents and young adults. She has worked with individuals experiencing generalized anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, social anxiety, self-harm behaviors, complex family dynamics, the effects of parental divorce, and challenges faced by LGBTQ individuals.
Morgan is trained in several evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and the Unified Protocol (UP).
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College. Her diverse clinical training has spanned middle school settings, partial hospitalization programs, and residential treatment centers, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of various therapeutic environments. During her pre-doctoral internship at Mass General Brigham Salem Hospital in Salem, MA, she delivered long-term outpatient therapy to adolescents and young adults in a community mental health setting. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys watching documentaries, experimenting with arts and crafts, thrifting, propagating houseplants, and spending time with her 2 cats.
