DBT SKILLS GROUPS

Enrollment Process

Through our DBT Skills Group (Adolescent DBT Skills Group and Multifamily DBT Skills Groups), we strive to set potential group participants up for success by engaging in a thoughtful enrollment process. This process includes:

  1. Inquiring About Services

  2. Therapist Referral

    • As all potential group members are required to have an individual therapist, this therapist is asked to complete two forms on behalf of their client.

  3. Assessment

    • This includes a 50-minute group screening appointment

  4. Group Commitment & Participation

If a potential group member is determined to be the right fit, then we will invite them to participate in the 23-week group. At around 18 weeks, the treatment team will discuss clinical recommendations for group participants.

Please note that many group participants are encouraged to participate for a second round (an additional 23 weeks) of the group. â€‹We also offer a DBT Skills Integration Group ("Graduate Group") for those who have demonstrated significant knowledge and application of the DBT skills.
